A Church with a Heart for our Community

December 6th Tuesday

Greetings to you in the name of the Great Physician, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour. Another late fall morning in the Kingdom…and yes, this is one of those days that the Lord has made for us – Thank you, Father! I trust that you had a great weekend and Monday – with many blessings, answered prayers, and the assurance of His presence in the difficult moments. I will be praying for you today, asking Father to release health, strength, and hope in abundant measure.

I want to share a brief quote and a simple prayer from my devotional reading that challenged me:  ‘My own experience in the ministry has taught me that those who profess to be Christians and yet deliberately absent themselves from the community of God, are the ones who are usually most in need of this company’. – Gracious and loving heavenly Father, help me realise that when I am at my lowest spiritually it is the very time I need to be with my brothers and sisters. Burn this truth into the depths of my soul. In Jesus’ name. Amen. – Every Day With Jesus – December 4th.

This will be our 14th Christmas season here in St. Thomas and we are so thankful for our church family and their amazing ability to be used by God in ways that they aren’t even aware of. They have taught us so much and believed in us and loved us and been so patient we have been so blessed by this community of God.

Have a great day and enjoy your blessings!
