A Church with a Heart for our Community

October 14th Tuesday

Greetings in the name of The Living Word of God, Jesus Christ – THE Crucified and Risen Saviour! What an interesting morning in the Kingdom! I trust that you had a good Thanksgiving weekend and are easing into a new week confident in God’s personal concern for all you are facing. I will be praying for you today, asking Father to surround you with mercy and grace.

I woke early this morning knowing that – “the times they are a-changing” and tried to discern what God was trying to reveal to me, but I couldn’t seem to do so. I have found that at times like this, instead of wrestling, I employed the Samuel prayer: “Speak, LORD, for thy servant is listening!” – 1 Samuel 3:9 NIV, and tried to return to sleep. God, had apparently decide to be quiet, but I knew that that wouldn’t last…and it didn’t.

I was eating breakfast and reading my devotional when God dropped a verse into my spirit to ponder: “…how gracious he (God) will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you…whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it.”  Isaiah 30:19b, 21 NIV. God was, I believe, instructing forward progress, but with an ear open to his supernatural GPS – “God Positioning Service.”  Therefore, I am going to do that without any second-guessing, or at least as much as I can. So, if you see me stumbling along, a little lost in thought…pray for me!

Be blessed!
