Thanks be to God for the unspeakable gift…the gift that cannot be described, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! I trust that you have had a grand week and enjoyed all the blessings God sent your way. I pray that you are looking forward to the Thanksgiving weekend, especially the extra day off! If you have been doing the “Thanksgiving List” , it must be interesting and revealing. Make sure that at some moment over the weekend you share the highlights with someone. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to bless you with health, strength, and a happy heart.
As I was coming to the office this morning, thinking about Thanksgiving and my personal “Thanksgiving List” – I heard the melody in my memory bank and started to sing…“Thank you Lord for saving my soul – Thank you Lord for making me whole – Thank you Lord for giving to me – Thy great salvation so rich and free.” I began to wonder how many “thank you” songs/choruses/sayings that are hidden away in the hearts of people…so today I want to share some quotes/saying with you.
Dear God, I want to take a minute, not to ask for anything from you, but to simply say “Thank You” for all I have — Thank you God that when the Devil says, “They are all mine!”…that Jesus says, “Over my dead body!” — “Thank you God. Your grace has kept us. We’re still standing. You woke us up in our right minds. You started us on our way. You granted brand new mercies we didn’t deserve. We give you all the glory. Lord, if you never do anything else for us, you’ve done enough. Lord, we thank you. — Thank you for loving me. Thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for showing me my worthiness and pursuing me. I am in awe of you Lord. I surrender my heart to you. May your Holy Spirit transform me and make me like you, in Jesus name.”
Thank you, God…for taking the broken pieces of my life and making a ‘masterpiece’. — Thank you God. It ain’t over until you say its over. Help me to keep fighting until my victory has come. — I believe God will do the impossible in my life…thank you God. — Don’t be a part-time Christian who demands a “full-time God” — It is really nice to wake up in the morning realizing God has given me another day to live — God has a plan — There is light in the darkest of places — Sometimes we simply need someone to be there…not to fix anything or do anything in particular, but just to let us feel we are supported and cared for — Because of God, we are so much more than the worst thing we have ever done.
What is your “Thanksgiving” quote/saying/song? When things are good and life works out in a positive way…how do you say, “Thank you!” Today – this very moment – is the day God designed for you – why not stop right now and lift your attention to God and say – “Thank you!”
Have a great weekend…I am thankful for you! — Be blessed!
