Greetings in the name of the one who came to set the captives free, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! It looks like another beautiful day in the Kingdom – weather-wise at least. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to release the ‘light of His presence’ into every nook and cranny of your life, surprising you with thoughts and ideas that will bring joy.
Today, let me highlight the next level or tier of prayer. It is the tier of ‘intimate prayer’ where you pray with those who are closest to you in all your world. Each of us have individuals who we trust with our confidential concerns and issues. They have been with us for a time and they have a track-record of friendship, trust, and commitment. They have been tested and approved over time and with sensitive insights – things shared.
From the beginning of time, when there was just one man God declared that it is not good for a man to be alone. We need other people with whom we can relate to without fear of betrayal. If we happen to be someone’s prayer partner in this way, we carry a sacred responsibility and must lean on God with relentless faith. The tier of intimate prayer can, at times, be as unique as ‘personal prayer’ and therefore is very powerful. According to the words of Jesus – when two or more agree on earth concerning an issue or request, God in heaven responds!
