Happy New Year 2018 !! I trust that you had a blessed two or three weeks as you journeyed through the Advent-Christmas-New Year season…of course it is not officially over until January 6th, so still time to be merry and bright! What a beautiful winter’s morning! … another day that God has made for us to enjoy and thank Him for. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to warm your inner person with love-hope-joy-peace…and in addition may you experience a fresh wave of health and strength!
This morning I am pondering what I believe is God’s message to me, both personally and for my church family, I hear the word – RESTORATION – as it flashes across my thoughts, and its been there for several days. The concept of ‘restoration’ and what it might look like in practical terms has been affirmed from a few trusted sources. Therefore, I am comfortable in saying that 2018 – for me and my ‘household’ – is about – RESTORATION…in terms of purpose/mission, in relationships, in dreams/vision, in health/well-being, in discipleship, and in areas where the enemy has taken away from us.
As I put that word – RESTORATION – in front of me, I hear the counsel of God saying – “Believe me! Accept me! Hold onto me! Walk with me! Wait with me! Trust me!…it will be worth it – I will reward you!”
Therefore, this morning, or whenever you are reading this, will you join me and consider what God might do to display – RESTORATION – in your life, in your family, in your church. Would you be bold enough to accept that God is ready to do the business of RESTORATION with you? would you claim it right now and thank Him in advance? … simply write the word on your mind and let God inscribe on you heart …He is the God of “restoration”!
