A Church with a Heart for our Community

October 5th Wednesday

Greetings to you on this beautiful October morning! What   a delight to declare that “this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it!” Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to strengthen you with His joy and to make His presence known to you as He rejoices over you with a song that is for you…may He meet your needs…may He be the lifter of your head…and may He keep you as a “prisoner of hope!”

This morning I want to share a paragraph and a prayer from one of my morning devotions:

When you choose to let your light shine, even your smile is anointed. Be yourself. The lost don’t need a sermon. They need to experience the One who lives inside of you. The despondent are waiting for the hope you carry. Within you is the beautiful answer to the desperate cry of many. Don’t withhold your words of encouragement. Don’t ignore those nudges when he directs  you to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Let your love out.

Father, you are the beauty I want too release to the world around me. You are the good news they need to hear. Give me the words to speak and the anointing that touches their hearts. Flow through me so others may feel the tangible goodness of your presence.

A little something to ponder…be blessed!
