A Church with a Heart for our Community

March 28th Saturday

Greetings to you in the powerful, beautiful, and wonderful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! I join you in thanking God for this new day that he has allowed us to see and experience…we are so blessed! As well, we thank God for family and friends that we stay connected with in the midst of our time of “shut-in-ness”. I trust that you are keeping healthy in body-mind-spirit. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to respond to the ‘cry’ of your heart and to release everything you need to be comfortable and at peace.

Today in Canada there is  a nation-wide online prayer gathering and time of fasting that has been organized by a group of prayer ministries. At this time they can only host 5000 people online at one time…and at this time there is a waiting-room. The call to prayer is based on the verse that says: If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT. This verse is affirmed by another verse that says: Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as friends. – Revelation 3:20 NLT.

God, I believe is more than ready and certainly able and wonderfully willing to respond to an invitation to enter into our lives. So, today I believe that as people in Canada cry out to Him that things will begin to happen in our country. Further,, I believe that even if we don’t join with others today in an active way when we cry out to God for our world – our country – our province – our city – our church – our family that He will respond. Many of us have been reading daily prayers as well as our own…and the powerful thought to consider is that when we are praying in our homes there are countless others who are praying at the same time and the “communion of saints ” is activated…we never really pray ‘alone’.

Today – hear His voice, open your heart and mind to Him, invite Him in and enjoy His presence, and express your concerns…He can heal our land!

A little something to think about – have a blessed Saturday!
