Greetings to you in the name of “the Prince of Wholeness”, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! Another pleasant late winter’s morning in the Kingdom…and another opportunity to enjoy all that He has in store for us! I know it is a cliche thought but it is still very true – we live in the ‘present’ which is truly a ‘gift’ from God that arrives each day…ready to unwrap and discover what is contained within. I will be praying for you today, asking Father to bring joy, peace, and love into your heart, mind, and soul.
God is so good! I have been searching for a particular compact disc and it has been frustrating. I know that I have it…somewhere in my collection of favourites. I have at least three or four places it could be….and I have searched each place carefully – several times now – and no ‘cd’. So I go on my ‘I tunes’ site and the ‘cd’ which is now 20+ years old is not available…I am getting more frustrated as I cannot replace it. It is not available on the artist’s webpage. Interestingly enough the title of the cd is “Is anyone thirsty?” …and you guessed it, I am ‘thirsty’ for this cd.!
This missing ‘cd’ has been on my mind so much that I put the words to one of the songs – “For this I have Jesus” on the back page of the Sunday bulletin insert. One of the lines in that song says: All my prayers and longings that seem unanswered yet – and so I decided to simply stop worrying and leave with God…for this I have Jesus So the very next day, I decide to look one more time at all the possible locations…and guess what? I still couldn’t find it! The next day I go to the office, take off my coat, hang it up on the end of the book case, and sitting on the shelf – yes! you are right. There is my ‘cd’ – right in plain view, on top of a stack that I have looked at many times over the last week or so.
I have put the ‘cd’ on to play and the songs that I wanted to listen to are ministering to my spirit and transporting me back to the first time I heard them…a very significant time. God is soooo good! As I listen to four songs in particular, God does what one of the songs says..His presence fills the room like sweet perfume. It is vitally important to get into a positive, faith-filled environment of praise and worship where you can re-orientate yourself. Ah – yes, for this I have Jesus.
Have a great day! – Enjoy your blessings!
