Greetings to you in the name of the One who brings God’s presence into our lives, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Savior! Let us begin with making our declaration “This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.” I trust that you had a good weekend and have started the week with an awareness of God’s mercy and grace giving you encouragement. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to release strength to you through His joy…may He bring healing to you…may He watch over your coming and going.
Since the Christmas is understood and celebrated by music and song, I thought that I might share a few of the new songs that I have discovered. I am grateful to the songwriters who can add a refrain or chorus to a traditional song/carol…and even touch up the melody. I have gathered seven or eight new Christmas songs and even had a practice with them at our Monday worship before prayer.
