Greetings to you in the name of the ‘Light of the World’, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful day in the Kingdom…thank God for the gift of life and the measure of health and strength that you have been given to enjoy this day that God made for us. I trust that you have had a good first week of August and that you are excited about what lies ahead of you. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to prepare you for a divine encounter as you gather with your Christian family this weekend.
This is ‘new release Friday’, when new music CD’s get released. Today one of my favourite groups, Third Day, have released an album called – Revival. I have listened to samples of all the songs and one in particular caught my attention. The title song – Revival, has these words: Anybody looking for revival – In our own hearts or across the land … Ain’t gonna find it in a politician – Not from the government or any law – Can’t get it by your own religion – Only by the Spirit and the Word of God. It is an upbeat song with a positive challenge.
BREAKING NEWS!! – Remember this, fix it in your mind, take it to heart, you rebels. Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. Isaiah 46:8 – 10.
BREAKING NEWS!! – “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD, “as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts…” Isaiah 55:8 – 9
BREAKING NEWS!! – “…For I know the plan I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper(revive) you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and I will bring you back from captivity…” Jeremiah 29:11- 14a
BREAKING NEWS!! – “…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked (selfish) ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and will heal (revive) their land…” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
You never know when “Breaking News” is going to be released to the people of God. I suppose that is why the old Gospel song says – Turn your radio on, listen to the music in the air — Get in touch with God, turn your radio on!
