Greetings to you…apple of God’s eye…in the beautiful, powerful, and wonderful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Savior! What a morning we have – clouds and rain and humidity – but it is still the day that the Lord has made, so we will rejoice and we will be glad in it! I trust that you had a good weekend and Monday with some positive memories to remind you of God’s love. This morning I will be praying for you, asking Father to release mercy and grace to you…may you experience His touch in ways that will be meaningful and encourage you…and may He refresh you with streams of living water.
Watching and reading the news report these days can be very discouraging…politics, Covid19, social unrest, and countries in turmoil. Oh, then you read about weather patterns, forest fires, heavy rainfall and floods and rock/mud slides, drought and closed reservoirs, global warming, and changing ocean currents. Yesterday, at our prayer gathering, God brought to my attention words spoken – The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters…all creation longs for freedom…universal agony and groaning of creation…Romans 8:18-24 TPT.
I don’ know where you stand on the subject of “end-times” but I believe we are moving quickly towards them. As we were praying for spiritual revival-renewal in our world…all of creation is groaning for revival-renewal as well. I don’t think of that often enough and God has already made a promise that…if His people, who are called by His name would humble themselves and seek His face and repent and turn from their wicked ways – then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Each day, at the beginning of my prayers…I need to remind myself that God is till on the throe and He is in charge! I need to remind myself that He has a “plan” and He is constantly working at it. Our primary responsibility is to “watch and pray” as we pay attention to what is happening and listen as all of creation groans…”send revival!”
Something to ponder…be blessed!
