Greetings to you…trophy of God’s grace showcasing His salvation…in the beautiful, wonderful, and life-transforming name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Savior! Once again let us declare that this is the day that the Lord has made – we will rejoice and be glad in it! What a beautiful morning with April showers washing away some the last season’s dust and giving creation a little drink. I trust that you have had a good week and are almost ready for a weekend. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to …bless you and keep you – smile upon you and gift you – look you full in the face and make you prosper. Numbers 6:4 – 26 The Message. …may He hear you crying out to Him and respond to your expressed need.
I am thankful to God this morning for “New Music Release Friday”…and especially for the arrival of anew CD from a favorite group – Here Be Lions. HBL is not simply a performance band but a ministry of music aimed at the perceived needs of people. They do a lot of teaching and express personal ministry through their music. There are a few particular songs on this album that I look forward to sharing in ministry times. First, the song – He’ll Turn It Around…states – No burden too heavy for Him…No sorrow He cannot heal…No trouble He can’t overcome – All it takes is a little bit of faith – He’ll turn it around!
The second song – Taste and See…invites us to give God a chance to display His powerful presence and has a catchy little tag verse that says – Draw a little closer…Breathe a little deeper…Come you’ll find your freedom…I’m all you’ll ever need. The third song – I Speak the Name of Jesus…is a powerful song of intercession that states – Your name is power…Your name is healing…Your name is life…Break every stronghold!
And to top it off, there were two or three simple songs released that sound good. It has been some time since there has been such a great offering of ministering music released. There is great value in music and good words…even God likes to sing over His people. It is vitally important to have a song in your heart!…and it is necessary to accumulate “new songs” to sing to and about God.
Something to ponder…have a great day…be blessed!
