Greetings to you in the beautiful, wonderful, and powerful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful morning in the Kingdom – God is smiling on us through the sunshine and we can feel the warmth of His love! This would be a good morning to thank God for three people who bring ‘sunshine’ into your life and make you smile…for three ‘things’ in your home that you use almost everyday that make life easier…for thee ‘items’ in your home that remind you of God’s goodness to you or express His beauty…for three ‘memories’ you have that make you feel loved. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to be the lifter of your head and your strong tower and to be the shepherd of your life.
This morning God has being speaking to me through a few of my friends…and I have heard it said that if what He is saying is something I need to hear, then someone else needs to hear it as well. First, We all have moments when we feel better than ever before, and we say, “I feel fit for anything; if only I could always be like this!” Those moments are moments of insight which we have to live up to even when we do not feel like it. Many of us are no good for the everyday world when we are not on the mountaintop. Yet we must bring our everyday life up to the standard revealed to us on the mountaintop when we were there – Oswald Chambers, My Utmost For His Highest.
Second, Let us go to Calvary to learn how we may be forgiven, and let us linger there to learn how we may forgive – Charles Spurgeon, and that caused me to hear the words of an old chorus…Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord – To the cross where Thou hast died…I am Thine, O Lord-I have heard Thy voice-And it told Thy love to me…
The third word was one of affirmation and it needs a little context. Over the last two days, I was able to talk with many of the church family and I had a sense that God was hovering over them in a particular way. Later in the evening I received an email that highlighted a new album coming soon by a worship leader and worship team that I believe has a message for the church, in general. There was one song that caught my attention – There are miracles in motion…there are moments in Your presence…You transform everything You touch – Corey Voss, and that expresses what I sensed. There are miracles in motion for our church. There are moments that will draw us into His presence. God is going to touch our church and transformation(s) are coming!
Let God speak to you today — be blessed!
