A Church with a Heart for our Community

April 5th Tuesday

Greetings in the name of the One who was, who is, and who is to come, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful day in the Kingdom! I trust that you had a great weekend and Monday – with special blessings, adventures, and surprises as you walked in faith. Here is a quick word to you from God: The life that pleases Me is a life lived in the gratitude of grace, always choosing to walk with Me in what is right. This is the sacrifice I desire from you! – Psalm 50:23:a TPT. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to release a song of praise in your heart that will encourage your “walk” !

This morning my eye was drawn to a note that was hanging on my closet door. It was a ‘declaration’ as to what I was expecting or desiring from God. It states: “I declare breakthroughs are coming in my life, sudden bursts of God’s goodness. Not a trickle. Not a stream. But a flood of God’s power. A flood of healing. A flood of wisdom. A flood of favor. I am a breakthrough person and I choose to live breakthrough minded. I am expecting God to overwhelm me with goodness and amaze me with His favor. This is my declaration.” Truth be told, I haven’t made that declaration for some time….as I have been so blessed over the last two and a half months. So I thought it strange that it would catch my attention this morning.

Next, I intercepted a telephone call from a woman who was cancelling her “foot care appointment” because the sap is running again…quite unexpectedly, and she must be home. This is what she said: “…it is just a sudden outburst. We thought the season was over but it is on again.” Interesting, because in God’s economy what happens in the natural is often a reflection of what He wants to do in the spiritual.

Next, along comes a prophetic devotional that says God is desiring to release a great outpouring of Himself. It will be a DOWNPOUR of growth with new beginnings, of prayers answered, and miracles taking place. So, this is what I am going to do with this. I am going to ask you to do – copy down the declaration and for the rest of this week speak that declaration twice…once for yourself and then once for your family/friends–and once more for your church. I believe that God wants to “breakthrough” at this time so get ready…open your heart, your mind, and your hands to receive all that God wants to give!

Be blessed!
