A Church with a Heart for our Community

June 28th Wednesday

Greetings to you in the name of the one who is our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Savior! I will say it again…”This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it!” I trust that you are aware of God’s “amazing grace” giving you daily strength and a happy heart. Today I am praying for you, asking Father to surprise you with heavenly provision and holy interruptions.

As mentioned yesterday, I want to share a prayer as we move towards Canada Day. First, I want to give you a verse of Scripture to ponder. It is an Old Testament comment about a nation losing it’s sense of direction: “After that generation died, another generation grew up who did not acknowledge the LORD or remember the mighty things he had done for Israel.” (Judges 2:10 NLT). We seem to be in that place once again and prayers for our nation are vital.

So, here is a prayer from the heart of Beni Johnson. She was the Ambassador of Joy and Intercession at Bethel Church in California: “Thank You, Jesus, that You reclaimed all authority in Heaven and on earth when You rosé from the dead. Thank You that You extended that authority to us, the sons and daughters of God. Right now, in the power of Your name, I claim my home, my city, and my region for Christ. I take back any authority that has been, knowingly or unknowingly, handed over to the enemy. And I declare that restoration, transformation, and revival will come to my land!”

Let me end with a few phrases that were in one of my morning devotions : keep your heart humble –  keep your knee bended – consume God’s revelation – be a willing student – be thankful for divine interruptions.

Blessings on you!
