Greetings to you in the beautiful, wonderful, and powerful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Savior! I hear the words of Scripture making the declaration – “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!”! What encouraging words to hear and to know that God is on the throne and in charge – in a world that has been turned upside down and inside out! I trust that you had a good weekend and start to your week with divine surprises and special blessings. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to dispense enabling grace, tender mercy, and sustaining strength…may He touch your body with healing…may He restore your soul…may you experience His pleasure.
This morning in my devotions I read this statement…Never believe the lie that your inability to hear him (God) is greater than his ability to speak to you. He is God, after all. He knows how to get your attention. – Gretchen Rodriguez, The Vision. As I pondered that, God decided to communicate with me through his Word: May we never forget that the Lord works wonders for every one of his devoted lovers. And this is how I know that He will answer my every prayer…Yes! The Lord my healer has heard all my pleading and has taken hold of my prayers and answered them all…You will answer me, God; I know you always will, like you always do as yo listen with love to my every prayer. – Psalm 4:3; 6:9; 17:6 TPT.
I had been asking the Lord for direction for the days ahead…what did He want me to do or not do…what changes, if any, did I need to make…did I need to readjust the set of my sails? It seems to me that I need to keep my focus on being one of His intercessors and to encourage others to do the same – as an ambassador of prayer. Then, to add His own special touch, God directed me to a verse that affirms something I thought was ‘original’ to me.
We often use the expression – “God is good…all the time!” and I like to add…”and some days He is even better!” Today, He drew my attention to this affirming verse: Let everyone give all praise and thanks to the Lord! Here’s why–He’s better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends. Psalm 107:1 TPT. Please note – He’s better than anyone could ever imagine…say that to yourself – right now -and then repeat. He’s better – He gives beauty for ashes, the anointing oil of joy for our deepest sorrow, and the covering of praise when life weighs us down! He is better than we could ever imagine…better than just good!
Something to ponder – have a blessed day!
