Greetings to you in the beautiful, powerful, and wonderful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! This is the day…a beautiful day at that…that the Lord has made for us – let us rejoice and be glad in it! I trust that you have had a good week with many blessings to carry you into the weekend. I pray that you are looking forward to taking a pause for Sunday worship – in whatever form that takes. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to command His angels to watch over you and keep you from falling…may you find yourself beside still waters being restored…may you feel the strength and awareness of people praying for you.
This morning I am extremely grateful to God for being able to send this blog and the prayer email out to fellow-adventurers. I am blessed to share insights that He has so graciously unveiled…and to share quotes from so many “friends” – even if I have never physically been in their presence…and to share lyrics from songs that teach-inspire-challenge-express so much feeling.
However, the highlight is being able to share the kingdom of prayer with all of its twists and turns and nuances. I came across a “quote” this week that I want to share. It relates to the simple complexity of prayer. Here it is: At times, we will bow in reverent awe. At, times, we’ll stand with arms raised in praise and worship. And there will be days when we are face down on the carpet, tears streaming down our cheeks. And there will be days when we’ll dance in the rain, telling Him how much we love Him. – Sheila Walsh.
The more I have learned about prayer, the more I learned that there was so much more to learn. Of course, you can only learn ‘prayer’ by ‘praying’…and experiencing the presence of God that keeps drawing you closer to His heart. What intimacy! I am remembering a chorus from a few years ago – I keep falling in love with Him, over and over again-He gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by-Oh the love between my Lord and I-I keep falling in love with Him, over and over and over and over again. I didn’t grasp the depth of meaning then but today!
Thank you for being part of this journey…have a blessed day!
