A Church with a Heart for our Community

October 15th Tuesday

Greetings to you in the wonderful, powerful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful October morning in the Kingdom with lots of sunshine and blue sky…Wow! I trust you had a grand Thanksgiving weekend and are excited about the week ahead. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to fill you with that peace that is beyond understanding and grant you a restoration in your soul.

As I write this morning I am listening to selection of old hymns with new arrangements from a cd produced by a gathering of worship leaders – Worship Circle. As much as I like new songs, there is something about using an old hymn and dressing it up a bit – adding a chorus, changing the music. In particular, I am blessed by two hymns that have been ‘dressed-up’ – Fairest Lord Jesus and Come Thou Fount…who knows we might get a chance to sing them together.

Last week I told you about  a collection of prophetic proclamations…and that I wanted to share them with you. So, here is the first one…5780 is going to be the beginning of a season of fresh restoration of righteousness – ‘holiness’. This righteousness is both a gift and an outworking of our lifestyle and character. It is based in part out of Psalm 24, “Who can ascent to the hill of the Lord? But he who has cleans hands and a pure heart.” This will be a time when the Spirit comes with conviction…when people of faith seek to be more effective and affective in their life of faith.

Just a little something to ponder…be blessed!
