Greetings to you in the name that carries the power of the One who is the same – yesterday, today, and forever!, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a delightful morning God has prepared for us, as He displays His artistic ability in the painting of the autumn leaves. I pray that you had a grand Thanksgiving weekend and are enjoying the new week we have been given. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to open your eyes to see all of His glory and presence being manifested all around you.
As you know, I like good quotations and Scripture verses when they arrive at just the right time…and God has been doing it for me once again. It starts with the life verse of our congregation: Now may God, the inspiration and foundation of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope! – Romans 15:13 TPT.
Then this quote: “Forgiveness does not mean forgetting what was done…Forgiveness does not guarantee healing. Forgiveness opens the door to healing, but forgiveness and healing are not the same thing. Why? Because forgiveness and trust are two different things.” – Jack Frost, Experience the Father’s Love. God has been talking to me quite a bit about the area of forgiveness.
And then these words from a prayer: I know, Father, that You have not called me to ‘just get by’ – to only ‘survive’ – but the thrive! May I once again be filled with joy in Your presence. Only You can do this, Sovereign Lord–only You can breathe life into the dead places of my soul I ask for a revival visitation of Your Spirit to fall on me, Father. Break up the unplowed hardened ground of my heart. By You Spirit, change me, O God–for I am determined to seek after You. Tiece King, Pray the Word.
And then I am brought back to Scripture: And the God of peace will swiftly pound Satan to a pulp under your feet! And the wnderful favour of our Lord Jesus will surround you. – Romans 16:20 TPT.
There now…you can ponder along with me! Be blessed!
