Greetings in the name of the One who is alive and active in our lives, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! Here we are on the last day of March experiencing the retreat of the “lion-lamb” – wind, rain, and moderate temperatures. Once again I am reminded that everybody complains about the weather but nobody does anything about it. As much as we do not like rainy days…I am reminded that ‘rain’ is a symbol of the reviving-restoring activity of God in our lives. So, today I will be praying for you, asking Father to send that “holy rain” to wash away the dust of one season and refresh you for the new season ahead.
This morning I have directed to a verse of Scripture that has become part of our daily prayer. Here are the words: “…continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 2:12c-13 NIV…”Continue to allow your New Life to manifest through you as you live in holy awe of God-which brings you trembling into His presence. God is the One who will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the desire and passion to see your longings fulfilled.” Philippians 2:12c-13 TPT. When we pray it out on a daily basis, we simply say: God we know you love us and we accept that love. We want to love you right back as we love others and tell others about your goodness and let your presence radiate out of our lives. We believe that the best way to show someone – God – that you love them is to “show it” in your words, actions, and thoughts.
I suppose this comes from a saying: What you are doing is speaking so loud that I cannot hear what you are saying! I have told people that if you are a good person or a forgiving person or a giving person or a caring person or a non-judgemental person … you don’t tell everybody, you show them.
So today, on the last day of March, I want to share a personal prayer: Lord, I want everyone to come to know You and experience Your wonderful goodness! It is my privilege to show and tell people about who You really are. Demonstrate Your love through my life in ways that You know will touch people deeply and show them the reality of Your deep love for them. Amen. – Bill Johnson – Hosting His Presence Every Day.
