Greetings to you in the wonderful name of Jesus – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful morning in the Kingdom — so much easier to believe that this is the day that God created for me…than when it is snowy or cold or raining! Plus it is the last day of winter 2019…which means that we are going to celebrate Spring 2019 tomorrow!! I trust that you had a good last weekend of winter and a Monday-Tuesday as well. It is kind of exciting…two new store are opening in our city tomorrow…and this is exciting why, you ask? They are answers to prayers for an economic revival in our community. So, today I will be praying for you, asking Father to release the stirrings of revival-renewal-restoration in you that people around you will notice.
This past Monday at our prayer gathering – “The Cry” – there were a number of prayers for the world of the media and electronic communication and the cyber-world. My first reaction was not as urgent as some and later in the day God reminded me of a verse of Scripture: It wasn’t that long ago that you lived in the religion, customs, and values of this world, obeying the dark ruler of the earthly realm who fills the atmosphere (air waves) with his authority, and works diligently in the hearts of those who are disobedient to the truth of God. – Ephesians 2:2 TPT . We have an enemy who is constantly trying to undermine the relevance of God and His word and His authority.
So it is a right and necessary and expected that as we see the enemy creeping around in areas of our life that we pray for strength, wisdom, strength, and insight. In particular as we engage in the world of media and electronic communication. I am reminded of my mother saying—“Don’t pass on a story that you don’t want everybody in the neighbourhood to hear about.” Today we can share a story or some personal information or a complaint or whatever …and the whole world can know about it in “seconds”.
