A Church with a Heart for our Community

June 8th Friday

Greetings to you in the name of the ‘Lily of the Valley and the Rose of Sharon and the Bright Morning Star’, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful morning in the Kingdom…so good to see the sunshine!¬† And it is a good way to get ready for the weekend. I will be praying for you today, asking Father to let His peace settle deep into your being and calm your soul.

I received an email from a ministry that I follow and it reported that there is a “revival” taking place down in Greenville, Tennessee. It started as a week long series of services back in mid-April and is now in its ninthe week and still growing. The meetings are now being held in a donated tent that seats 1500 people and it is full each night – Monday to Friday. People are coming to salvation, people are getting healed, and relationships are being restored – exciting! Although starting in one church denomination…it has the support and participation of several¬† churches and leaders – praise the Lord.

Meanwhile back at the ranch: we have a new provincial government, a new Stanley Cup champion team, the Blue Jays won a baseball game, our Prime Minister is hosting an important G-7 conference, and life seems to be ticking along @ 60 seconds a minute – 60 minutes an hour – 24 hours a day…. . However, I hear the “sound of the abundance of rain” – God is on the move and I am believing we will see Him working in our lives and families and churches and communities. I wonder if it might happen today…this weekend?

Have an awesome weekend…pay attention, prepare the way!
