Greetings to you in the name of the wonderful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful morning in the Kingdom – and what an opportunity to express our appreciation to God. I trust that you have had a good week thus far and are excited about the weekend with all of the adventures and opportunities that it brings. Imagine, we get to gather again in our little church to worship and to celebrate God’s grace and mercy. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father for a greater release of His grace, love, and total well-being to flow into your life and give you a fresh revelation of His presence.
Mother Teresa gave some simple but profound advice: Spend one hour each day in adoration of your Lord, and never do anything you know is wrong. Follow this, and you’ll be fine. What a lovely definition of worship – the posture of the soul when you express yourself to God saying, “You’re the One whom I desire.” I am thinking of the words of the Psalmist as he reveals his understanding of worship: Here’s the one thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer. – Psalm 27:4 TPT.
Once again I have been reminded of the necessity of finding God’s presence on a personal level…having an intimate relationship with God. This morning I have been reminded that that is God’s action plan with people. Just think, God was there at creation, He breathed life into Adam, He delivered His people as He stood with Moses, He rescued them through Joseph, He gave boldness to Jeremiah and strength to Samson, He gave protection to Ezra, and He walked into history through Jesus. God likes to be present with people…always has, always does, and always will.
Jesus gave some very powerful words to His followers, Without me you can accomplish nothing – John 15:4ff. Let’s face it – we need His presence more than we are willing to admit. The ‘quest’ to discover God’s presence in a relationship with Jesus is such an adventure and filled with grand discoveries, And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty. – Philippians 4:13b TPT.
This I understand about Jesus – His name is above every name, His place is above every place, His position is above every position .. He is worthy of being sought after, He is worthy of being worshipped, and …my faith in Him convinces me that He is more than able to keep all that I have placed in His hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing. 2 Timothy 1:12b TPT. I want to experience His presence, afresh, today!
Something to think about…have a blessed day!
