A Church with a Heart for our Community

June 14th Thursday

Greetings to you in the name of the one who sits at the right hand of the Father, Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! Another beautiful morning in the Kingdom after yesterday’s rather stormy few minutes…and we are being told that HOT weather is coming – so enjoy the pleasantness of this morning. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father hear your cry for help and to respond quickly giving you – the garments of praise!

Last night was our Bible study and it was a good lesson on the ‘super-naturalness’  of prayer. We were directed to a portion of Scripture: And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words.  Romans 8:26  TPT.

We were reminded that it is the supernatural activity of the Holy Spirit that works within us as we pray to reveal God’s Word to us, to deliver insights, to release words to say that we would never have figured out on our own, to inspire an emotional fervency, and to manifest the presence of Jesus. We were cautioned that it is possible to say a prayer without praying…ponder that for a moment or two. All in all, I believe we had a good study and od was magnified.

I pray that you will have a grand day – Be blessed!
