Greetings to you in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a delightful morning in the Kingdom … obviously a day that God specifically designed for us to enjoy and talk positively about…and to say “Thank You – Father!” I trust that all has been well in your world over the past days…there have been many things on my schedule – planned and unplanned, and that is why I have been silent. Today I will be praying for you , asking Father to release an assurance of his Presence to you and through you.
Over the past week or so, I sense God ‘speaking’ to me through my devotional reading, as well as through His Word. This morning I realized, or perhaps ‘re-realized’ that although I may be reading words that someone has written…those words are an extension of their voice. In a sense, reading their words is “listening” to their voice. So when I am send out a blog or an email or a post or whatever…what I send is really ‘speaking’ those words into the reader’s listening “mind-heart-spirit ears.” If I follow that through…I must be diligent and vigilant to what I am saying and/or agreeing with.
The scripture reference today was so powerful and valuable…God, give me grace to guard my lips from speaking (writing/posting) what is wrong. Guide me away from temptation and doing evil. Save me from sinful habits and from those who are experts in evil (who don’t have a spiritual mind-set). Help me not to share in their sin in any way! Psalm 141:3-4 TPT. And then I read (listened to) these words: For I’m releasing these words to you this day, yes, even to you, so that your living hope will be found in God alone, for he is the one who is always true. Proverbs 22:19 TPT. Once more God spoke through His Word: The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:14 TPT.
A few days back God gave me a quote through a friend: It is not what you look at…it is what you see! Perhaps I could re-phrase that and say: It is not what I read, but what I am hearing in those words! I believe God is trying to tell me something … I need to be more thoughtful about what I write…I never know who might be listening.
