A Church with a Heart for our Community

July 28th Wednesday

Greetings in the name of The One who forgives all our sins, heals all our diseases, who redeems our lives, who crowns us with love and compassion, and satisfies our desires…Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! Another beautiful morning in the Kingdom – bright sunshine, blue skies, and gentle breezes! Thank you Father-God! This morning I will be praying for you, asking Father to release the benefits of His presence that you need to grow in your faith-walk.

I am believing that God wants to “revive and restore and refresh” His people and I have been actively praying for that happening for a long time. The more I wait the more anticipation I have…and the more the enemy tries to whisper words of discouragement to me. Recently, in a moment of questioning,God sent a message to me through a devotional article – that is one of the chief ways He operates in my life. Let me share some of the phrases from that article that He wanted me to pay attention to.

“The days of coming glory will not pass you by, you will experience all that I have planned–the fullness of my power is coming to you….you will move from being confused to be comforted and filled with My life…Do not judge My plans for your life by the momentary mess that is around you, or the unusual situation you find yourself in this day…Those I use the most, I bewilder the most! When you are bewildered and have no clue what I am up to, it is proof of My high calling on your life…Will you desire Me at any cost? Will you sacrifice to Me all your opinions of what I should do to move you forward. I will move in mystery…I am all you need” — I Hear His Whisper, Brian Simmons

I am very aware that that devotional was read by many people and that God probably used it to communicate with others, well those He describes: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts…Psalm 95:8a —  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches…Revelation 2:7a, 11a, 17a, 20a, ; 3:6a, 13a, 22a.  I understand that when you get discouraged and diverted and God seems delayed that it is easy for a heart to be hardened…a mind to be confused…a spirit to be desensitized. Those are the times when we need to remind ourselves – every 10 minutes if necessary – that God has a plan in operation and all I need to know, all I need to say: Jesus, you are all I need!

Blessings on you today!
