A Church with a Heart for our Community

January 11th Friday

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful winter’s day…isn’t God so very good to us? I trust that you have had an awesome week and have enjoyed the health, strength and happiness that God sent your way. I will be praying for you today, asking God  to reveal Himself to you in ways that you will understand, so that you can respond to Him…and that He will reveal Himself to you as mystery – something you cannot understand and yet be able to surrender to.

This past Sunday I shared some ‘prophetic themes’ that are being spoken of at the end of 2018 and start of 2019…and they are exciting to me, so I thought I might remind you of a couple that I can sense happening  around our community. First, be ready for a time of “acceleration” and “suddenlies” – God, I believe is getting ready to move in our lives and answer the prayers that we have been carrying for a time. God, I believe is going to ‘suddenly’ reveal Himself in our worship gatherings and in our homes.

Second thing I sense is that God has really got “harvest” on His mind. I believe He wants to see – men, women, children coming to Him and beginning to follow Him. I really believe the word that goes with this is “multi-generational”.

Third thing, I can see that the division between good and evil is getting larger and more defined. Just today there was a report on CBC news about the police concern over criminal activity in our community and how it is being affected by poverty, mental health and drugs. I believe that our corporate prayer times are more vital than we can know.

Fourth thing, I can sense that there is going to be a revitalization of the local church as the Holy Spirit is let loose to ‘shake’ things up with powerful signs, wonders, and miracles. I believe our worship time is going to become more crucial and the importance of gathering together is going to highlighted. The focus needs to be on unity within each church and within the whole church community.

I believe that the year ahead is going to an awesome adventure! … so we need to get ready!
