A Church with a Heart for our Community

Februay 7th Friday

Greetings to you in the powerful name of ‘The Way-The Truth-The Life’ , Jesus Christ – THE Risen Saviour! What a beautiful Friday morning in the Kingdom – gently falling snow, a bit of chill in the air, and a warm house to view this from! Yes! God is good and He does all things well! God even uses the accumulation of snow – we go out and shovel…a little extra bit of exercise! I trust that you have been blessed this week in a myriad of ways…and are eagerly anticipating gathering with the church family on the weekend to “celebrate” and give thanks. Today I will be praying for you, asking Father to decisively move in your life  to meet the needs, assist in carrying your burdens, release a healing touch, and to let you hear Him cheering you on.

This morning I want to share a little thought and then a brief prayer> First, the thought…Life is now a battle and a journey! We must do battle with the enemy of our heart, our desires, our dreams – he so desperately wants to instill fear, doubt, and thoughts of defeat, he wants us to give-up. We must keep on our journey – moving forward toward God, toward the great restoration, toward the great adventure. “Prosperous” is defined as forward progress, breakthroughs, and breakouts. Life is a desperate quest through ‘many trials and dangers and detours’ that lie between our now and our destinations…yes, ‘destinations’ because we are constantly arriving at grand points in our journey as we move forward. I understand that there is one penultimate destination…but there are some great ‘rest-stops’ along the way.

And now a prayer: Jesus, surround me and draw me into a place of holy intimacy with you that I have never known before. My heart is completely open to you. Your love has torn down the walls of separation. I flourish when I’m with you, becoming someone I never knew I could be, transformed by the power of the cross. Come meet with me as I turn my heart to you.  –  The Divine Romance – Brian Simmons and Gretchen Rodriguez … “February 7th”.

Blessings on you this weekend.
