A Church with a Heart for our Community

February 16th Tuesday

Greetings in the name of the Great Physician – Jesus Christ, THE Risen Saviour! I trust that all is well in your world today and you are enjoying all that God has for you. It seems a long time since I communicated with you through the blog and I am feeling a little overwhelmed. Most of you will know by now all that happened in my life and I am sure that much has happened with you. Over the past weeks my ‘anchor’ has been that simple chorus: “I’m in His hands”…the days I cannot see, have all been planned for me, His way is best you see – I’m in His hands! When you cannot concentrate and something simple is needed – I’m in His hands! When you don’t know what tomorrow will bring, or even if there will be a tomorrow – I’m in His hands! When you are having to depend so much on others – I’m in His hands! When you know that there is an army of prayer-warriors carrying you o the Royal Throne Room of Heaven – I’m in His hands! Waking up in the morning knowing you are alive – I’m in His hands! When you know how much you are loved by a wife, family, the church fellowship, friends, and even your pussycat – I’m in His hands!

God has been so good to me! I want to share a verse of Scripture and a challenging thought with you: None of us lives to himself…Romans 14:7 — “Has it ever dawned on you that you are responsible spiritually to God for other people? For instance, if I allow any turning away from God in my private life, everyone around me suffers. If you allow physical selfishness, mental carelessness, moral insensitivity, or spiritual weakness, everyone in contact with you will suffer. Oswald Chambers, ‘My Utmost For His Highest’ . Let me say “Thank You” to those who bore spiritual responsibility for me and my beautiful wife.

Have a great day — be blessed!
